Abstract
This is one of the European traditional dye plants. It's the most acclaimed dye plant to achieve a light fast yellow.

These seeds were grown and donated to this library by Emanuela Ventury in a dye garden in a place called Chiaravalle, next to Milano, Italy.

Description
Sow directly on soil or pot if you prefer, but it doesn't stand transplantation. Depending on your local weather it can behave as an annual or biennial plant. You will achieve better results if you wait first seeds to be formed. Save some plants only for seeds letting them fully dry naturally.
After harvest, hang them upside down until dried, them chop and get into glass jars to store and use along the year.
